Virtue of blank midnight

Virtue of blank midnight
—a lucent flung façade—
yields abstract contrast on canvas
to motive life's promenade.

Instantiating solitude,
projecting far solace and calm:
deep sky meaning drives wisdom
from distant thought farms.

Above dereliction
—regard our delinquent souls—
there's the verbose moonlight
seen so clean, cold, bold.

Conscience runs this way
then meanders in that, while
sky shifts slowly in cogitation
of silently affirmed fact.
